Osisko Mining has achieved significant milestones in their Windfall project, including connecting a hydropower line which is operated by a First Nations corporation. Osisko Mining have also conducted successful bulk sampling, with positive reconciliation results indicating higher grades than initially estimated. The company has entered into a 50-50 agreement with Goldfields, receiving $634 million in payments, which fully finances their portion of the project. Production is expected to start in the second half of 2026, with an estimated annual production of 200,000 ounces of gold. Osisko Mining also has optionality for future growth and exploration in the region.
