Osisko Gold gives the final go-ahead for construction of the Cariboo Gold Project in British Columbia. Underground development is already underway, and preparatory work is progressing—initial gold production is expected in 2029. This is backed by strong financing and an off-take agreement with Trafigura. At Canada Nickel: Komatsu is supplying the entire fleet for the Crawford Nickel Project. The focus is on automation and electrification—financing is still pending, but the project is really gaining momentum.
