Royalty companies are a good risk diversifier, as they do not bear any direct mining risk and yet have leverage on the corresponding commodities. On June 24, 2024, Victoria Gold reported a landslide in the heap leach pad at the Eagle gold mine in the Yukon. Osisko holds a 5% NSR royalty on Victoria Gold's Eagle Mine. The royalty will remain in place in any case. Osisko Gold Royalty reported another record margin for Q2 and received first shipments from the CSA copper stream in early July. We remain positive on the company, as metal prices remain at a high level and the share price has already reached an all-time high.
