Interview with Jonathan French, VP Capital Markets and External Affairs. Foran Mining is developing and building the McIlvenna Bay copper-zinc-gold mine in Canada. First operation is expected in the second quarter of 2025 and full production in mid-2026, with the company being able to produce very cheaply through the ‘by-products’ zinc and gold, and this in times of rising production costs. The project harbours further potential, which has already been taken into account in the construction of the mine. There is therefore further growth potential, and the share has already performed well in recent weeks. However, the re-rating potential remains as production approaches and the risk decreases.
